this performance is the most poetic and touching performance ever made of this piece. Tender and loving, my God...it moves me to tears. Pure magic!
Thank you, kat tsu. Monteux was the perfect conductor for this and many other compositions. I saw him many times in San Francisco. A small man that gave us strength. This is a gift i will treasure.
I think that what you say is true. It's a wonderful performance. It is the most favorite performance of this work.
Thank you very much for your Bill. Monteux is also a person of very high evaluation in Japan. There are no exaggerations for his direction, aren't there? Therefore every kind of music is very natural. He's one in the conductor I love most.
